Offcut Archaea Dress

A playfully abstract patch worked dress made from linen offcuts and roll ends. Each dress different with it’s own character, made up from the unique shapes that get cut away from oB’s garment making.
Cut in a choice of two colour palettes, Thermusarchaea (cobalt, greens, oranges, navy, whites) or Haloarchaea (Pinks, greens, browns, navy, whites)
Applique will be of similar feeling to what’s pictured yet not exactly the same as each dress is created unique dependent on the offcut shapes and the way I think they lay nicely together. For me it’s a really enjoyable process creating these wearable textile works an I hope receiving your own unique design will be a nice surprise.
The Archaea Dress fits neatly around the chest then falls into a floaty A-line shape, with two smal front pleats, hidden side pockets and a deep back pleat. The linen swings with a nice weight and the bodice is lined.
