In Detail.

  • I make both stock pieces available in sporadic drops on my Myriad Pieces webshop and hold curated collections of oB at my stockists.
Made for the Body is a pre-order service, usually falling into my next available slots in the oB monthly make. You can hope to receive your order at the end of the month your order is assigned to.

I make a very limited amount of pieces per month. This way of working allows me to make at my own pace and create a system of practice around the lifestyle I want to live. Making garments to order means I’m only making what is wanted, it creates less waste and allows me to tailor the pieces for the wearer.

All garments are made in house in my studio workshop at ‘the field’ an artist led community living project in an old school in Derbyshire.

  • oB ships Worldwide. Cost of shipping is automatically calculated at checkout based on your order and where you are.
(Orders outside UK may occur duty and handling fees, do check if this applies for your country )

Returns. Please contact oB to make a return. All garments can be returned within 10 days of postage arrival for store credit or a refund if returned in the same condition. International returns are not subject to duty fees but may occur handling fees.

More bespoke made to order garments, where you have had alterations outside of the standard, used custom fabrics or details which have been discussed with oB cannot always be refunded.

  • Taking extra measures for the care of your garment will contribute to it’s longevity.

Wash garments sparingly using ecological detergents. Using a clothes brush will dust off lint and spots of dirt from heavier fabrics. Fasten up garments, tying up straps and turning legs inside out before a machine wash. Avoid the tumble drier and where noted hand wash. Some garments will benefit from an iron after their wash. Hang or store with care.

  • I choose materials and construct oB garments with the best intention of them being able to withstand the wear and tear of daily life for as long as possible. But knowing clothes naturally will tear and wear out and not wanting them being unworn or thrown out I offer a repair and a reconditioning service on anything I have made.

Mending our clothes is a hugely empowering act, if you would like to try it out yourself I am always happy to send mending materials and give pointers for simple ways to mend, darn and patch clothes together.

  • Unwanted oB garments can be donated back to be passed on to people on lower incomes.
Reach out if this is you and would like to be added to the pre-loved oB waiting list.
