Encase Duster Coat in Charcoal Hemp
A long weighty duster coat in a charcoal black.
Encase the body.
I’ve made this coat from a denim canvas cloth made by a small UK batch produced organic hemp and cotton grown in the EU . It’s two sided weave reveals a textural matt hemp side, which shrouds the main outer with an underside of smooth twill cotton fibers, which I’ve chosen to reveal in certain areas like the patch pockets and under collar.
The coat has a lovely swing to it with a wide fit and and back pleat, with side splits at the hem. Corozo nut buttons run down it’s centre and it can be worn loose or cinched at the waist with the long tie belt. It has 4 pockets, two front hands pockets, lined with a reclaimed highland wool lining, a chest patch pocket and a patch pocket at the back. A notched collar that can be worn open or flipped up.
