A Woven Plane AW18. The Rosemary Sock.

Reconnecting to Cornwall and the wild, rugged landscape of the North coast, where oB began, the A Woven Plane AW18 photoshoot features a selection of oB Wear garments paired with pieces by Bristol based Ottowin, Cornwall based Sarah Johnson and of course Italian-made socks by A Woven Plane as the main inspiration.

Connected by our individual crafts and a shared love for standing stones, the collaboration seemed only natural.

A landscape where sky, grass, wind and stone meet, the Bodmin wilderness was selected as the backdrop and captures the geology of Cornwall, which is known to be dominated by granite in the way of coastal formations and dramatic rock placements.

Captured between photo and video by Lulu Ash, the end result represents a focus on for-life design and an appreciation for natural cloth and traditional craft techniques that together allow each designer to explore their own ideologies.

Founded in 2015 as an adventure to find socks for women with considered designed and timeless colours in mind, A Woven Plane socks are made from a merino wool - egyptian cotton blend and are produced in an italian factory that has been in business for nearly 40 years.

Thankyou so much to all of the wonderful people involved within this collaborative photoshoot. It is such a joy to see oB featured alongside such considered, crafted designs.
