The Bristol Cloth - In partnership with oB

support us through the crowdfunder

cloth, rewards, bespoke garments or simply donate

The Bristol Cloth project showcases British heritage, preserving what this land has always offered and what British communities have done for centuries. We are set to prove that it is still commercially viable to make cloth on our shores, sustaining British tradition, culture, community, land and the economy. oB wear partners with the project at the last leg of the fibres journey by cutting and sewing this rich cloth into a choice of unique oB designs.

The Bristol Cloth is made with holistically farmed and biologically washed wool from Fernhill Farm. Naturally dyed with organic British plant dyes by Botanical Inks, woven at the Bristol Weaving Mill, the first industrial loom to open in Bristol in nearly 100 years, then Milly (oB wear) will cycle across the city to collect the cloth to be cut and sewn in oB’s Bristol based studio into garments.
